NEVILLE TWP., Pa. —  Deer Lakes forward Ryan Murdock had two goals to lead the White Team to a 7-6 victory in the 2018 PIHL Single-A All-Star Game.

The game featured a wild finish, as the Blue Team tied pulled goaltender Cole Luther (Sewickley Academy) late. Murdock scored an empty-net goal, but Blackhawk’s Sean Steinle scored to bring Blue to back within a goal before Cole Bradley (Bishop McCort) shut the door on the White Team’s victory.

West Allegeny’s Kellen Almady had a hat trick in the losing effort. He and teammate Jacob Gyergo combined for seven points.
