Army West Point forward Michael Wilson has been suspended for Saturday night’s game against Robert Morris at RMU Island Sports Center.

Wilson received a game misconduct for contact to the head on a check to RMU’s Nick Jenny with 1:05 remaining in the second period of Friday’s 2-2 draw. Jenny did not appear to suffer an injury on the play and finished the game.

After a supplemental discipline review, Atlantic Hockey officials determined that the call was correct and that Wilson’s action warranted another game of suspension.

Wilson, a junior, was Army’s leading scorer last season with 18 goals and 12 assists for 30 points. He had just 20 penalty minutes in the 2017-18 season. This year, he had one assist in Army’s first four games.

The Colonials and Black Knights are scheduled to face off at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday.
