Burrell dominates Trinity, 10-2

NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. — The Burrell Buccaneers wasted no time as they netted four goals in the first period en route to a 10-2 win over the Trinity Hillers.

Tyler Stewart had five goals and seven points and Dylan Zelonka scored twice as the top-seeded Bucs advanced easily into the semifinals of the PIHL Division-2 playoffs.

Trinity showed some life in the third with some heavy hits and two quick goals by Dax Kress and Corey Blommel.

Andrew Burkett got the nod to start in goal for the Bucs and made 12 of 14 saves.
