The Colonials have a strong non-conference schedule, and it gets tough right from puck drop. After the Saints visit to start the season, Robert Morris will make a trip to Potsdam, New York for two games against 2017-18 NCAA champions Clarkson.

The rest of the non-conference schedule will see them host RPI Oct. 12-13, Colgate Nov. 9-10, Minnesota State Nov. 16-17, Cornell Nov. 23-24 and visit Minnesota Dec. 7-8.

“We feel [this schedule] will be a great opportunity to see some of the best teams in the country, both at home and on the road,” head coach Paul Colontino said in a press release. “Ten of our 14 non-conference games will be against teams that finished the season in the top ten … including both the national champion and runner-up.”

Robert Morris will enjoy a four series home-stand through November and December before traveling to Minnesota.

The season will close out with home series against CHA rivals Mercyhurst and Syracuse. The Lakers ended RMU’s 2017-18 season in the CHA Tournament final.
