NEVILLE TWP., Pa. — In the second of back-to-back games against the No. 2 team in the country, the Robert Morris came up short on Saturday.

After taking the second-ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers to overtime before a heartbreaking loss on Friday, the Colonials couldn’t hang around on Saturday.

Minnesota scored four unanswered goals in the third period to break free from a deadlocked game and beat Robert Morris, 6-2.

The Colonials won’t get a break from top-ranked competition. After falling to 2-2 on the season, they’ll host No. Clarkson on Oct. 18-19.
