Kiski Area defeats Beaver 11-1

SALEM TWP., Pa. — The Kiski Area Cavaliers put on a dominant performance, defeating the Beaver Bobcats 11-1 at Center Ice Arena Monday night.

Mason Pierce led the Cavaliers with two goals and two assists.

Beaver’s loan goal came off of a deflection from Kyle Shearer when Preston Peters floated the puck from the blue line  in the first period.

Also scoring for Kiski Area was Kyle Guido, Jonathan Ayres, Aiden Bardine, Geno Galippi, Rowan Alexander, Ethan George, Kolin Shaffer, Evan Hileman and Nicolas Miles.

Evin Brice finished the night stopping 11 of 12 shots in net for the Cavaliers. Beaver’s goaltender, Domenick Amthor, had a longer night in net facing a total of 65 shots.

UP NEXT: 

Kiski Area has a quick turnaround as they travel to Cranberry Township on Tuesday, Jan. 19 to face off against North Catholic at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex. Beaver has some time to recover before starting a four game home stand when they host Sewickley Academy at Brady’s Run Ice Arena in Brighton Township on Thursday, Jan. 21.
