NEVILLE TWP., Pa. — RIT swept the weekend series with Robert Morris with a 6-2 victory on Saturday.

Timmy Moore and Brady Ferguson scored for Robert Morris as the teams were even at 2-2, but Myles Powell took the lead for RIT before the end of the second period.

RIT scored three more times from Gabe Valenzuela (2) and Matt Abt before the end of the game.

Francis Marotte was relieved by Andrew Pikul in the third. Freshman Dyllan Lubbesmeyer played the last two minutes in net for the Colonials.

Next weekend, the Colonials play their final home and home series against Mercyhurst University with 7:05 p.m. starts both nights.
