NEVILLE TWP., Pa. —  Robert Morris took on in-state CHA rival Penn State at RMU Island Sports Center on Saturday for the Colonials’ second annual teddy bear toss.

Robert Morris’s Amber Rennie released the bears with the first goal of the night just a mere two minutes into the game. Penn State’s Kelsey Crown tied it up but Jessica Gazzola found the net before the end of the period giving RMU a 2-1 lead. The teams exchanged goals in the second, RMU holding their lead 3-2. Kirsten Welsh finalized the win with her 12th goal of the season, setting a defensive record at RMU.

The Colonials travel out west for a weekend series against Lindenwood. The Nittany Lions are home, next, on Tuesday against Princeton.
