Penguins Cup Push: AAA

The race for Penguins Cup playoff positioning is in the final week and very few things have been decided! Here are the scenarios for the AAA classification.

NOTES: All first-round home games are subject to ice availability, and in the event of a neutral-site game the team that is the ‘higher seed’ is considered the home team.Any ties that are broken by the tiebreaker for penalty minutes (PIM’s) will not be declared until the team with the lesser amount finishes their season.

North Allegheny with a win over Butler AND Bethel Park defeats Peters Township in regulation AND the Tigers take 59 fewer penalty minutes than Bethel Park does in their matchup against Peters Township.

No. 2 Seed:

Peters Township with a regulation loss to Bethel Park AND a North Allegheny overtime loss to Butler plus the Indians take 5 fewer penalty minutes than the Tigers in their game against Butler.

Butler with a regulation loss to North Allegheny AND two regulation losses by Cathedral Prep OR an overtime loss to North Allegheny AND Cathedral Prep gets one point in their final two games.
