Despite two games postponed, 10 other teams got in on the action Tuesday. All four classifications saw teams vying for positioning to start the second half of the season. West Allegheny took control of the Class-2A Southwest division and Canon-McMillan won their second game in two days to pull within two points of North Allegheny for the Class-3A lead.

CLASS-3A

CANON-MCMILLAN 5, Upper St. Clair 0
After defeating Central Catholic in overtime Monday, the Big Macs easily took down Upper St. Clair with goals from four different players, including two from Nate Burlando.
North Allegheny @ Peters Township (Postponed)

CLASS-2A

West Allegheny 5, MEADVILLE 1
Josh Ferry stopped 27 of 28 shots as West Allegheny improved to 6-0 and jumped to the top of the Class-2A Southwest division standings, half a game ahead of the 5-0 Baldwin Highlanders.

CLASS-1A

Quaker Valley 4, WESTMONT HILLTOP 2
After falling behind 1-0, Quaker Valley (1-4) used four goals in a row, including two by Max Quinn, to take down Westmont Hilltop and earn their first win of the season.

FOX CHAPEL 4, McDowell 1
Similarly to Quaker Valley, Fox Chapel put four goals in from four different players after falling behind 1-0. The Foxes are now 2-4, but sit just two points behind a crowded three-way first place tie in the Class-1A Northeast division.

CLASS-B

Neshannock 3, WILMINGTON 1
After a scoreless first frame, Neshannock had the only goal of the second period just 1:48 in by Patrick Cionni. Lex Moses scored the eventual game winner and Tino Multari added an empty net goal for insurance. The Lancers (5-2-1) sit just three points behind Bishop Canevin (6-0-2) for the Class-B North division lead.
