The Robert Morris men’s hockey team has jumped three spots to No. 17 in the latest USCHO.com Division I Men’s poll, released Monday.

The Colonials (11-3-0, 9-1-1 AHA) took down Niagara Sunday, 6-2, completing a three game sweep of the Purple Eagles in four days. The only other Atlantic Hockey team in the top-20, AIC, fell one spot from No. 19 to No. 20. Minnesota remained the No. 1 team in the country, followed by North Dakota, Boston College, St. Cloud State, and Minnesota State to round out the top-5.

With the upcoming weekend series against Canisius postponed, Robert Morris will get more rest before traveling to Mercyhurst (4-5-1, 3-2-1 AHA) on Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 5:05 p.m.
