CASTLE SHANNON, Pa. — The Bishop McCort Crushers grabbed a leg up in the Class-1A Southeast division with a 6-3 win over South Park, thanks in part to Adis Ultanbekov’s four goals.

Ultanbekov traded two goals apiece with South Park’s Justin Mettrick in the first period, taking a 2-2 tie into the first intermission.

A power play goal by Nikita Zapolski early in the second and a goal by Bryce Bair late gave the Crushers the lead for good, 4-2.

Ultanbekov completed his hat trick just two minutes into the fourth and then traded goals with Garrett Brecosky of South Park to get his four-goal performance and give Bishop McCort the 6-3 win.

Shane Peremba made 37 saves in the losing effort for South Park. Nicholas Yost made 21 saves for the win.
