The Penguins Cup and Flyers Cup for Class-1A, Class-2A, and Class-3A have been awarded. Two teams apiece will battle for the state championship on Saturday, Apr. 24, 2021 at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex.

In Class-1A, there will be a new state champion for the first time since 2013, after Bayard Rustin, who has won the state championship for the past six years, will not be playing in the game. Instead, West Chester East (2008, 2013), who was the last team to win the state championship before Bayard Rustin’s streak, looks to secure their third state championship. Indiana is seeking their first state championship.

In Class-2A, Baldwin (1975, 1988) is looking for their third state championship after securing their fourth Penguins Cup. Haverford seeks to spoil the Highlanders’ party by looking for their second state championship after winning the Class-1A championship in 1992.

North Allegheny is looking for their third state championship (2007, 2013) against Malvern Prep, who last won in 2004, their only state championship.
