The PIHL has rescheduled three Armstrong games and two Freeport games because of the closure. The Riverhawks moved their Oct. 3 game against Hampton to Alpha Ice Complex (7 p.m.) and their Oct. 17 and Oct. 24 games against Shaler and Hempfield, respectively, to Frozen Pond Arena. Both of those games will start at 9:10 p.m.

The Yellowjackets moved their Oct. 3 game to Alpha Ice Complex as well, at 7 p.m. Freeport also moved their Oct. 31 game against Thomas Jefferson to Alpha Ice Complex at 9 p.m.

The Belmont Complex’s website includes a note on the calendar page that warns that ice could be unavailable for up to six weeks. The PIHL has not rescheduled any games in November or beyond.
