Latrobe rolls again, beating Moon 7-0 for third straight win

GREENSBURG, Pa. –  Seven is the number as the Greater Latrobe Wildcats put up seven points for the third consecutive game to start the season with for a 7-0 win over the Moon Tigers.

JS Florek recorded a hat-trick and the first goal of the night that would stand to be the game winner.

The Wildcats’ powerplay was a big contributing factor, going 3 for 4 with the man advantage and receiving goals from JS Florek, Jarred Stein and Alex Walker.

JD Robinson and Cole Ferri were the other goal scorers for Latrobe. Latrobe’s players put on a dominant performance as 12 of the 18 skaters had at least 1 point.

Greg Irons only saw 10 shots on net, stopping them all for the Wildcats

Lukas Konecsni stopped 33 of 40 shots on net for Moon.

Up Next:

The Greater Latrobe Wildcats will travel up Route 66 as they will face the Plum Mustangs at Pittsburgh Ice Arena in New Kensington on Monday, Oct. 28.

Moon Tigers will head back home to Baierl Ice Complex in Warrendale and play host to last years Class-A champion Montour Spartans on Monday, Oct. 28.
