Two hockey players are among the 10 players that will be inducted into the Robert Morris Athletic Hall of Fame this season. Nathan Longpre will represent the Robert Morris men’s team and Brianna Delaney will represent the Robert Morris women’s team.

Longpre, a 2011 graduate, was a two-year alternate captain and scored 47 goals and recorded 91 assists in 136 games in his career as a Robert Morris forward.

After graduating, he went straight to the AHL, where he played in parts of five seasons with four teams. He also played in the ECHL and Norwegian and Danish leagues before retiring as a professional last October to begin a career as a firefighter.

The Robert Morris Athletic Hall of Fame was founded in 1991. Chris Margott (2015) and Brianne McLaughlin (2014) are the only other two hockey players to be inducted.

TALLY THE VOTES

The Robert Morris women, who went unranked in the USCHO.com poll on Monday, were ranked No. 10 in the USA Hockey/USA Today Coaches Poll that was released on Tuesday.

The 3-1 Colonials received 18 points. They had been unranked in that poll the previous week. They have been nationally ranked in one of the two polls for 18 consecutive weeks, dating back to Dec. 6, 2016. They have received votes in 23 straight coaches polls.
