NEVILLE TWP., Pa. — The Colonials took on the Buckeyes for a home-and-home out of conference series Friday and Saturday. Friday night the Colonials fell 5-3 in Columbus with RMU goals from Luke Lynch, Timmy Moore, and Daniel Mantenuto. Buckeyes found the net with Tanner Laczynski, John Wiitala, Eugene Fadyeyev, Matthew Weis, and Austin Pooley.

Saturday, Ohio State took another win over Robert Morris, this time 3-1. Matt Miller of Ohio State made the board first in the third. RMU’s Alex Tonge found the net nearly 5 minutes later, tying the game. Robert Morris nearly took the lead with a goal from Luke Lynch that was later waved off after review. Ohio State would take the final 3-1 win with two goals from Tanner Laczynski, who would have a 5 point weekend with the Buckeyes.

The Colonials will return to the RMU Island Sports Center next weekend with a conference series against Holy Cross.
