Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to bring you this broadcast from Ice Castle Arena. Pittsburgh Hockey Digest was informed at 8:20 p.m. that the rink that the game was to be contested on was switched by the venue with the Upper St. Clair-Peters Township matchup without knowledge of the league, and with the complex nature of a broadcast (as well as Mitch working solo) it was impossible to switch the whole broadcast setup to the opposite rink.
Mitch’s note: I chose this game in particular to watch and enjoy the two squads involved. While we have tried to keep an eye out for “spreading the wealth”, bringing different facets of #BurghHockeyLive to anyone who wishes to watch, we face major limitations when things happen that are out of our control. I sincerely apologize to all of the players, fans, families and casual viewers out there who looked forward to this broadcast. I hope to see you all in the future!

Mitch heads back to the South Hills for a second straight week of action from Ice Castle Arena, this week bringing a PIHL Class-B twin-bill.
Carrick welcomes Connellsville with the chance for the Cougars to wrap-up home ice in the first round of the PIHL postseason, while the Falcons are hoping to keep pace in a wild race for the final positions in the South divisions.
The broadcast is scheduled to begin at 8:50 p.m. with a 9:00 p.m. puck drop.
