NEVILLE TWP., Pa. — Despite being shutout Friday night by Holy Cross, 2-0, the Robert Morris Colonials found ways to win Games 2 and 3 by a combined score of 7-2. Here is a look back to this past weekends events.
Game 2 was a thriller as the teams had to take extra time to decide a winner. Santeri Hartikainen was the hero in this one as he found the back of the night from the point at 4:04 in overtime.
Game 3 was a different story as the Colonials jumped on every opportunity to with five different goal scorers. With plenty of scrums around the net throughout the contest, Justin Kapelmaster stood tall stopping 32 of 33 shots on net.
Robert Morris will next travel to Bridgeport, Conn., to face Sacred Heart this weekend with game one scheduled for Thursday, Mar. 12, and game two on Friday, Mar. 13. Both games are slotted for 7:05 pm.
