CASTLE SHANNON, pa — The Baldwin Highlanders, looking to strengthen their hold on the fifth playoff seed, ultimately fell to the Moon Tigers Monday night at Ice Castle Arena.
David Pawuk opened the scoring for the Tigers with a power play goal at the 11:09 mark of the first period. After the midway point of the second period, two quick goals by Rich Doyle and Zach Wildasin extended the Moon lead to three goals. With 56 seconds left in the second period, the Highlanders got on the board off the stick of Keith Reed. Unfortunately for Baldwin, it wasn’t enough as a silent third period ended with a Tiger empty net goal to preserve the Moon win, 4-1.
