In what was a physical game, the Panthers seemed able to match the Rams stride-for-stride early in the contest, but a pair of William Studt goals lead to a 4-1 deficit for Franklin Regional at the end of one.
Brandon Kashur had two goals while Ian Voit, Charlie Mill, Richard Wild, Jack Carnovale and Patrick Saber each scored for the Rams, while Oldrich Virag scored the lone tally for the Panthers. Daniel Stauffer stopped 13-0f-14 for Pine-Richland, while Daniel Soltesz and Jacob Fulton split time in the Franklin-Regional net.
