Actor Joe Manganiello, a Mt. Lebanon native and outspoken Pittsburgh Penguins fan, will host the 2017 NHL Awards and Expansion Draft in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 21.
The event will be held at T-Mobile Arena, the home of the Vegas Golden Knights, the NHL’s newest expansion team. It will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network at 8 p.m.

Manganiello is a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School and Carnegie Mellon University. He is most famous for his roles in the HBO series True Blood and the Magic Mike movies.
He also narrated “Pittsburgh Is Home,” a team-produced documentary on the Penguins’ 50 years in Pittsburgh.
