NEVILLE TWP., Pa. — The Robert Morris Colonials took on the Ohio State University Buckeyes with a home series on Friday and Saturday. After falling 7-3 to the Buckeyes on Friday, the Colonials were hungry for a win. After three periods, the game was tied 2-2, pushing the game into a five minute overtime. Just a minute and half into the overtime, Brittany Howard found her 17th goal of the season. The Colonials took the win, 3-2, their first non-conference win over a ranked opponent at home since 2013.
Robert Morris will take on Western PA rival Mercyhurst next weekend at the RMU Island Sports Center.
