WARRENDALE, Pa. — Mitchell then scooted down I-76 to catch Moon top Central Valley, 3-2, in Division 2 action. After dropping down from Double-A, the Tigers are 15-1 and have clinched first place for the 2017-18 season.

MONDAY, FEB. 5
HARMAR TWP., Pa. — Brian Mitchell took in a pair of PIHL matchups at Alpha Ice Complex. In the opening game Fox Chapel welcomed Greensburg Salem, and the Foxes decimated the Golden Lions 10-1.

In the second game, Shaler battled Quaker Valley for a 3-2 victory. Every point matters to the Titans, who are in last place in the Double-A South/East Conference, but came into the night just two points behind Penn-Trafford for the fifth and final playoff spot.
