Robert Morris men’s hockey team got commitment Wednesday as forward Ryan Coughlin of the NAHL’s Corpus Christi Rays announced via twitter that he will continue his hockey career with he Colonials.

Listed at 6-foot-1m 185 pounds, the right-hander has 10 points in 14 games this season — his first with the Rays of the North American Hockey League.
In three seasons prior with the Selects Hockey Academy under-15, u-16, and u-18 teams, Coughlin had 231 points in 168 games.
The 18-year-old native of Rochester, New York is the second member of the Ice Rays to commit to the Colonials. Defenseman Tyler Orban is slated to join RMU next fall.
Robert Morris assistant Ryan Cruthers was the head coach of Corpus Christi in 2018-19.
