NEVILLE TWP, Pa. — It’s been a long time coming, but the Robert Morris women’s hockey team finally has new uniforms, and they’re wearing them Friday night during the team’s final homestand at 84 Lumber Arena.
The uniforms, supplied by Under Armour, were originally expected to be ready for the start of the season, but production delays caused their arrival to happen at the end of the season. With the new threads finally ready, the team decided to break them out at the end of this year.
Equipment manager Andrew Wisneski gave fans a preview of the new look on Twitter earlier in the day.

The Colonials have four games remaining in the regular season — Friday and Saturday night against Penn State at 84 Lumber Arena and then next weekend at Lindenwood. The CHA Tournament begins March 3 in Buffalo, N.Y.
Most of the rest of the university’s teams started the 2016-17 school year with their new Under Armour uniforms. The men’s hockey team will not wear theirs until the 2017-18 season.
