The Atlantic Hockey Conference media, including Gary Heeman and Alan Saunders of Pittsburgh Hockey Digest, have picked Robert Morris to come in fourth place in the conference in the 2018-19 season.
Additionally, Colonials goaltender Francis Marotte and forwards Luke Lynch and Alex Tonge were named preseason second-team all-conference players.
Air Force received the most votes, followed by Canisius and Merychurst. Here’s the full list, along with how Heeman and Saunders picked the teams.
The all-conference first team included forwards Dylan McLaughlin of Canisius, Erik Brown of RIT and Derek Barach of Mercyhurst; defenseman Joseph Duszak of Mercyhurst and Cameron Heath of Canisius and Air Force goaltender Billy Christopoulos.
The second team inlaced the three Colonials, Army forward Michael Wilson and defenseman Alex Wilkinson and AIC defenseman Brennan Kapcheck.
Heeman picked McLaughlin, Tonge, Lynch, Duszak, defenseman Tanner Jago of Bentley and Christopoulos. Saunders selected McLaughlin, Lynch, Brown
