The second night of the 2019 PIHL Penguins Cup is in the books, and there has now been action in all three classifications.
In Class-AA, the quarterfinals are now set, with Baldwin shutting out Moon to advance to a South Hills rivalry game against Upper St. Clair on Monday in one first-round game and Hempfield knocking off Quaker Valley in the other.
In Class-A, a second quarterfinal has been set, as Indiana defeated Fox Chapel, 6-1. The Indians will now face West Allegheny in a rematch of a contentious, overtime Penguins Cup playoff game from a year ago.
Class-A play will continue on Thursday, with the remaining four first-round games.
There was no action in Triple-A or Division 2 on Tuesday.
